Name a wildly popular 20th<\/sup> century novel embraced by children and adults alike featuring these details:\u00a0 The main characters are two boys and a girl. The girl is bright but bossy. One of them is an orphan whose parents were felled during a time of widespread fear of the killer. One boy has his deceased mother\u2019s eyes. The other boy comes from a large family whose kindly mother treats his two friends as if they were her own. The three youngsters engage in clandestine activities associated with magic. An odd groundskeeper with a funny English accent watches over and helps the trio.\u201d<\/p>\n
